Aqua Guides
KC Watersports is currently accepting applications for the role of an Aqua Guide. The Aqua Guide position will be responsible for overseeing the safe operation of the Aqua Park at KC Watersports. All applicants must have a current lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certification.
Candidates must be detail oriented with a focus on the customer experience. The ability to multi task in a fast paced environment is a must. An excited outgoing attitude is required as well as a hardworking and determined personality. Working independently with little to no supervision will be expected with a focused mindset at all times. A self-starter with wild ambition will be a perfect fit. We believe in a work hard play hard environment foster by integrity, honesty, and whole lot of fun!
This role will be working in an outdoor and on water environment and the candidate must be able to work in all weather conditions. This position will be paid hourly with and expected workload of approximately 40 hours per week. It is a seasonal positions with and immediate start date with an end date of Labor Day weekend.

Surf Shop & Rental Associate
This position will be responsible for maintaining an efficient, clean, and organized shop. The position will include selling passes, rental gear, and products in the Pro Shop. You are one of the first faces that our customers see! So the fun, friendly, and helpful atmosphere starts with you. It is imperative that you are outgoing and able to work with little to no supervision. The responsibilities will include but aren’t limited to the tasks outlined below.
Below is a list of some your daily responsibilities:
- Provide Excellent customer service
- Be knowledgeable about the product lines we carry in order to answer questions and sell product efficiently
- Make sure to clear merchandise out of the dressing room after each customer leaves the fitting room
- Sell passes & Rental Gear
- Give correct wrist bands with the proper time purchased
- Get the correct equipment that is being rented
- Make sure each customer buying a pass understands the safety rules
- Make sure that everyone buying a pass signs the release waiver
- Make sure waiver is completely filled out and correctly
- Make sure that everyone buying a pass for the first time this year watches the safety video
- Make sure to check that everyone buying a pass either has a CGA (coast guard approved) life vest or rents one from us and has a helmet
- Engage with the customers (don’t sit behind the desk) find out what they are looking for and give suggestions
- Collect and put up all rental equipment after use
- Make sure to talk about and sell riders and parents on camps/clinics/events
- Straighten product throughout the day
- Follow all directions from manager

This position will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and efficient area around the lake (most importantly the starting dock). This position will be held responsible for helping beginners up, keeping a positive and encouraging dock area, maintain a smooth moving line of happy riders! In addition this position will also be the final checkpoint for all proper equipment and wristbands. It is an extremely fun fast paced position that takes a lot of concentration!

· Watch and be prepared to stop cable system to avoid accidents or damage

Marine Mechanic
This role will be responsible for the day to day management of the service center located at KC Watersports. It currently is a single service bay with a storage/service lot. The position will be responsible for the follow items:
Compensation will be based off experience
Full Time Year Round Position 40 hrs/week

- Communicate with customers before during & after service is completed
- Maintain a positive attitude & don’t blame customers
