SCOUT DAYS
At KC Watersports we offer a unique opportunity for Scouts ages 7+ to earn their watersports merit badge without the need for a boat! At our facilities we use overhead cables with ropes to pull people around both our beginner and our advanced lake. Anybody can learn how to wakeboard, kneeboard, or waterski with the help of our experienced instructors. At KCW, we understand the values that the Boy Scouts bring to the community.

Here’s how it works:
What we do for you:
- Each Pass includes a 2 hour pass on the cable including all necessary equipment & a seat for the classroom portion
- Classroom portions will be held the 30 mins following the time slot booked.
- In order to complete the merit badge each scout must pass both on water skills and the classroom portion (We do not complete requirement 3 - the BSA swimmer test - this must be completed prior to arriving)
- Every participant will need to have a current-year waiver on file
(filled out by a parent or guardian if under 18) - Show up about 15 minutes early for ensure waivers are correct and to get your wristband
- A swimsuit, towel, and positive attitude are a must (and we recommend sunscreen too).

- Provide all the necessary equipment for a safe environment
- Go over all the safety precautions before anyone gets on the water
- Step-by-step instructions on how to get up on the water and make turns
